FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS:  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  I pray you have a wonderfully blessed Christmas with your families and may 2012 find you happy, healthy, and prosperous!
Wow, can't believe it has been 5 months since I have done a post.  On December 13, 2011, we had a beautiful harvest moon, so I will use that as my entry.  Merry Christmas!

Gorgeous Sunset

My daughter went to Myrtle Beach in S.C. with friends for a few days in June. When she got back, I went over to her place to visit and find out about how her trip went. This gorgeous sunset was captured just after a pretty rough thunderstorm. My DSLR camera battery had died and I was freakin' out because I was afraid I was going to miss the shot, but my daughter handed me her best friend's camera and I was still able to get a few shots. I was a happy camper! :)

Sunkissed Clouds

All I want to say is God can sure paint a pretty picture for me to capture, can't He? :)

Just Hangin' Around

Bluejay

I have tried for three months to capture this little bugger...on camera! Guess my persistence finally paid off. :)

Community Photo Challenge-Macro

The first bloom to blossom in my oxalis. This is a teeny tiny bloom, but the camera makes it look like a regular-sized flower. I think that qualifies for the Macro challenge. :)

Spring is "Springing!"

I'm so excited that Spring is almost here! So tired of the cold. This was an unusually cold winter for Alabama. We usually have nine months of summer (well, a slight exaggeration there, but you know what I mean). I just saw my first butterfly for this season. Spring is definitely in the air! Woo Hoooooooooooooooooooooo!~
