Country Living Southern Style II

My daughter, Carrie, and one of her BFF's she met when we lived in Colorado. They hadn't seen each other in 5 years since we moved from Colorado back to Alabama and Audrianna moved to Indiana. She gets to visit for two weeks! My baby girl is one happy camper. :)

I am late with my submission, but better late than never, right? This is a view you will find on the beautiful Azalea Trail every Spring in Opelika, Alabama, which also just happens to be my Hometown!

My soul is so weary and troubled, but I see Your light in the darkness, Heavenly Father. The things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of your glory and grace. Amen.

If you haven't seen this movie, you should. It is an awesome movie. What a difference this family made in this young man's life. Have your tissues handy, you will need them, but in a good way. Very touching movie! It really pulls at your heartstrings! I give it two thumbs up!~

Storm clouds from yesterday (03/28/2010). First pic is looking out my front door and bottom pic is looking out my back door. We had a pretty severe thunderstorm come through. With it came a few minutes of hail as well. Whew, I'm glad to still be alive!

Love this pic of Simba and Mary Jane. I actually caught Simba mid-yawn, but it looks like he is roaring at something that might be threatening Mary Jane and he loves Mary Jane. She is his buddy. He even bathes her, lol. Need a funny caption. Any suggestions?
